Moto G34 5G, the company’s next-generation G series smartphone, will formally launch in India at an event scheduled for next week. The smartphone will go on sale on both the official Motorola website and Flipkart on January 9 at 12:00 pm IST, following the ceremonial launch. The Moto G34 5G, which is anticipated to retail for Rs 10,999, promises to provide fast 5G performance in the low-cost market along with a number of premium features.

A key highlight of the Moto G34 5G is its Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, potentially making it the first phone under Rs 12,000 to feature this processor. Recognized for its power efficiency and ability to handle day-to-day tasks effectively, the Snapdragon 695 5G promises a balanced performance.
Moto G34 5G: The Superior premium design
Design-wise, the phone boasts a slim profile with a smooth matte finish rear panel, available in three color options. With a thickness of 8mm and a weight of 180g, the phone combines sleek aesthetics with portability. The front sports a 6.5-inch HD+ (1600 x 720) display with an impressive 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and visuals. Stereo speakers featuring Dolby Atmos support ensure an immersive multimedia experience.
According to specifications on Motorola’s official website, the Moto G34 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 695 5G processor and paired with an Adreno 619 GPU for graphics-intensive tasks.
The Moto G34 5G features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The smartphone also includes an IP52 water-repellent design and weighs 180g. In the camera department, the budget-friendly smartphone offers a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfie and video calling needs, there is a 16MP camera on the front. Additional features include a substantial 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging, Moto Connect desktop mode, face unlock, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and an IP52 rating for water resistance.

In terms of software, the Moto G34 5G runs on My UX, based on the latest Android 14 operating system, with Motorola committing to 1 year of OS upgrades and 3 years of security upgrades.
The Moto G34 5G is reportedly estimated to cost ₹10,999 for the 4GB RAM/128GB storage option. The cost of the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant is not yet known. The Moto G43 5G will be offered in Charcoal Black, Ice Blue, and Ocean Green color options, with the Black model including a vegan leather back, as verified by Motorola.
